Channel 4 viewers horrified by documentary on woman who breastfeeds her boyfriend

Channel 4 viewers were left stunned by what was on their TV screen on Monday night as a documentary aired entitled Breastfeeding My Boyfriend.

The official synopsis from the broadcaster read: "A look at the taboo surrounding adult breastfeeding, exploring a growing underground scene that ranges from women producing milk for their partners to the lucrative lactation porn industry."

And it was certainly an interesting watch

Lana Michaels, who met her boyfriend Shawn through a vegan dating app, said the practice is the perfect foreplay for them.

Lana, who used to work as a teacher, has a seven-year-old daughter and an 11-year-old son from a previous relationship - and when they grew up, she missed breastfeeding them.

The pair starred the documentary, Breastfeeding my Boyfriend, about adult breastfeeding on Monday night talking about why they choose to breastfeed.

Lana explains she and Shawn first experimented with breastfeeding 18 months ago, and she argued it creates "physical energy" between them before they have sex.

Now, it's such a key part of their sex life, Lana admitted she'd find it difficult to stop.

Another contributor, known simply as Milky Mummy, explained how she made £30,000 a month selling lactation videos.

And thousands of people who tuned in took to Twitter in the aftermath.

One viewer said: "I was going to say that Shaun's getting right on my tits. But I don't feel that's appropriate wording watching this"

A second laughed: "Definitely regretting having a glass of milk before bed now"

While another was excited about another Channel 4 show coming later in the week: "Cannot wait to watch #gogglebox this week after this. Especially Giles and Mary."

A fourth added: "If I could lactate beer from my tits, my boyfriend might be on board with this"

While other mothers made an important point, saying: "I haven’t watched this or heard anything about it but as a currently breastfeeding mother I’m so disturbed just by the hashtag alone. It’s something that should never be sexualised"
