An erect penis will be shown on British TV for the first time ever this Monday night.
Channel 4 's "Me and My Penis" will air at 10pm on August 31 and will reportedly show eight erections throughout the programme.
A first for any UK TV channel, Me and My Penis reportedly aims to "break the stigma surrounding the male sex organ".
Throughout the hour long show, different men will discuss personal issues they have relating to their penis' and will speak openly about the physical realities of sex, masturbation and erections, and how it feels to be a man.
They also tell stories of infertility, violence, sexual abuse.
According to the Independent, the programme follows British artist Ajamu X as he engages men in conversations about their penises, and what it is to be a man in 2020.
Me & My Penis will apparently also mark the first time that an erect penis has been shown on terrestrial TV.
Susanne Curran, executive producer, said of the programme: “It’s been exhilarating working with Ajamu and a brilliant cast of courageous and honest men, prepared to share their most formative and intimate experiences – so often not heard.
"And to capture their shared desire to change how men are defined.”
One man on the show is a former police officer who can't drive a car without becoming aroused and another is a trans man who talks of his fear of female puberty.
One of the men involved in the programme is a former soldier who suffered a severe injury to his genitals while carrying out a bomb disposal in Afghanistan which resulted in him losing both his legs.
The man, named Jason, said: "Strangely, when I was told I had lost my testicles I just, metaphorically, shrugged my shoulders.
"I couldn't grieve straight away, but later on I did.
"Sometimes I would be in a horny mood and have nothing I could do about that."

Shaminder Nahal, commissioning editor at Channel 4, added: “In this funny and moving film, the penis becomes a gateway through which to explore all sorts of aspects of masculinity.
“The men taking part deal with everything from sex to violence, fear and love, masturbation and ejaculation.”
