Channel 4 SAS fans 'in tears' as they watch Jennifer Ellison 'paralysed' with fear

Fans of SAS Who Dares Wins were 'in tears' watching Jennifer Ellison face her fears tonight.

Tonight's show saw the celebrity contestants having to jump from helicopters in pairs and freefall off a cliff. For Liverpool's Jennifer it was especially terrifying as she has a "paralysing" fear of heights.

The 38-year-old said: "I hate heights. I just get this overwhelming fear. It paralyses my body."

She added: "I have got to trust myself again because it used to be there so powerful. Nothing would deter me from anything and I'd be fearless and I'd just do it."

Jennifer managed to push herself and went ahead with the freefall from the clifftop. When she reached the bottom she had tears in her eyes as she said: "I'm terrified of heights."

Ahead of tonight's show, Jen posted to Instagram saying she was "stripped down" and "broken". She wrote: "Catch Ep 2 of SAS tonight! Channel 4 9pm.

"Not going to lie, I’m stripped down, broken, speak the truth and find the best partner in my opo @broomedwardst44. We have to seriously dig deep as Sh*t gets real and they seriously up the ante! Think this pic is the one and only time I smiled in there!"

Fans felt her pain as she struggled through the episode and said that they cried with her. Sharron said: "I cried with you tonight . What a beautiful young woman you are. Hope you get to the end x"

Andy said: "Somebody give Jennifer Ellison a hug." Meanwhile, Ian said: "Poor Jen. Gone through some terrifying s***. #SASWhoDaresWins."
