The Steph Show is returning to Channel 4 and the TV star wants you to be part of a live studio audience in Leeds.
Former BBC Breakfast presenter Steph McGovern launched her lunchtime magazine show earlier this year. However, it could not be filmed as planned from a new studio at Leeds Dock due to the coronavirus pandemic, and had to be recorded from the presenter’s Yorkshire home instead.
Around six weeks after launching, the programme came off the air - but now it is aiming to return in September in its preferred format, infront a live studio audience.
When it was cancelled earlier this year, a Channel 4 spokesperson said: “We are working towards the production of The Steph Show as it was originally intended – with a live audience from a studio location in Leeds – in the autumn.
"On production resuming, our ambition is that large numbers of crew will return."
The Steph Show features celebrity guests and the public tackling everyday issues. Now, it looks like plans are in place for the programme to return to Channel 4.
The producers are looking for the public to be part of the live studio experience - while adhering to Covid-19 safety guidance. They said: “Would you like to join us in the studio for a show packed with celebrity guests, cookery items and topical news?
“You may even get to speak to your favourite celeb.
