A new series of Channel 4’s The Dog House is being filmed this autumn and it’s looking for families wanting to adopt a dog.
Is now finally the right time for a dog? Are you looking for a new addition to the family? Could you give a rescue dog a loving home?
Five Mile Films, the makers behind the hit show, wants to hear from you.
Although filmed at Wood Green, The Animal Charity in Cambridgeshire, programme makers are looking for adopters all over the UK, including Manchester.
While some rescue centres only rehome their animals locally, casters say that the location of the adopters can be flexible with each dog treated on a case-by-case basis.
If you’d like to take part in the show and adopt a rescue, applications are now being accepted and are expected to remain open until filming in the autumn.
If you’re willing to share your rehoming journey and your reasons behind wanting a dog, the expert dog matchers can help. Those taking part will be required for roughly three days of filming.
Channel 4 has been taking us behind the scenes at Wood Green since 2019, with this next series being its third and viewers have been loving it.
The show has even featured olympic cyclist Victoria Pendleton, who adopted Rhodesian Ridgeback Leilo.
