Channel 4's The Bridge line-up sees two Welsh contestants join reality show

The Bridge will soon return to screens for it's second series. In the new series, there is double the drama and double the money as two teams go head-to-head to be the first to get their hands on a £200k jackpot.

The Channel 4 hit is hosted by AJ Odudu, fresh from her gutting Strictly Come Dancing appearance last year. The eight-part series sees 16 strangers compete for the chance to win £200,000. Contestants David and Keira, who are both on Team North Beach, will be flying the flag for Wales as they attempt to win the cash prize.

The pair will have to face the ultimate test of physical ability, mental skill and teamwork. Going head-to-head, the two teams taking part will race to build a bridge over 1,000 feet of water in just 12 days to reach the cash which lies below a tower on an island between both beaches. But only one person from the winning team can take home the huge amount of money.
