At the eleventh hour last night Channel 4 pulled a Cutting Edge documentary about bailiffs and replaced it with a repeat of a show about banking scams. An OK, fairly run-of-the-mill story, you'd think. But when Monkey called to enquire, the normally outspoken, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed C4 press office clammed up. Apparently the reason for pulling the programme involved an "issue with a contributor", was not a legal complaint and, er, that's all they'd be telling us thankyouverymuch. Why the secrecy guys? The bailiffs weren't seen visiting cash strapped C4's own Horseferry Rd HQ were they?
