Channel 4 responds to A Place in the Sun complaints

Channel 4 has responded to complaints about new episodes of A Place in the Sun.

Previously, the ECHO reported how the property show, which features Laura Hamilton and Jasmine Harman, was pulled from schedules on March 9 and replaced by a new TV programme Tool Club.

Tool Club follows Kevin Duala who leads a four-strong team of DIY experts alongside Jessica Grizzle, Julia Miller-Osborn and Mac McMurdo as they tackle botched DIY projects.

However, viewers trying to get their fix of A Place in the Sun said they can only access episodes on All4 up until Friday, February 10. One fan, Bonnie, tweeted: "@Channel4 why can I only see up to February 9 on catch up for A Place in the Sun?"

Alberto said: "@All4 @Channel4 Any reason why episodes of A Place in the Sun from February 10 onwards are unavailable on All 4?"

And Kez said: "@Channel4 what happened to A Place in the Sun?" Responding to concerned viewers, Channel 4 clarified why only certain episodes appeared on All4.

User @4Viewers said: "There have been no new episodes of #APlaceInTheSun since 9th Feb. Episodes shown after this date will have been repeats."

Channel 4 has not confirmed when A Place In The Sun will return with new episodes.
