A Channel 4 star has announced that her show is being taken off air. Steph McGovern has shared that her sown, Steph's Pack Lunch is going to be pulled, and how now issued a warning to her views about the major change.

The star shared on July 7 that the show would be the final for a while, as it will be taken off air next week while the star enjoys a break. “So tomorrow we are on an earlier time of 11:20, so don’t miss us, 11:20 tomorrow,” Steph told viewers.

Steps star Claire Richards, Celebrity Gogglebox favourite Denise Van Outen and TV chef Simon Rimmer will join her. Rimmer will be in the studio just a week on from his dad's heartbreaking death, reports Birmingham Live.

“So remember, tomorrow we are on at 11:20, former BBC Breakfast star Steph said. Each year, Steph's Packed Lunch has a summer hiatus. Steph launched her own chat show last year when she quit BBC for Channel 4 during the pandemic

To begin with, due to Covid restrictions, Steph said she hosted Steph's Packed Lunch from her home. By the end of summer 2020, the Channel 4 programme was being broadcast from a studio on the Docks in Leeds, with the presenter joined by a whole manner of celebrity guests.

The show is set to return in September. "The last #StephsPackedLunch before our summer break," the show tweeted. "Steps superstar Claire Richards, the aphrodisiac plants to boost your love life, our round-up of the best summer bargains & MUCH MORE!" It then also added: "Friday's one hour show is at the earlier time of 11.20am on @Channel4."
