Channel 4 plans new documentary series about life after Love Island

Channel 4 is releasing a ‘behind the scenes’ documentary following the lives of ex-Islanders after they leave Love Island.

Although no one has been officially attached yet, The Sun reports that it will feature exclusive interviews with past contestants.

The documentary series will reportedly be called Reality Check: Life After The Limelight and is believed to uncover what it is like to the instant fame that Love Island brings.

The show will also look at what happens to those contestants who go back to regular life and jobs when the influencer work runs dry.

The 2022 Love Island cast has already been busy announcing their next steps, including winners Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti planning their own travelling reality show on ITV2, exploring their native countries of Turkey and Italy.

Tasha Ghouri was the first Islander to land a major brand deal, partnering up with eBay, Love Island’s own fashion partner for 2022.

Indiyah Polack bagged two brand deals, one for six figured with Pretty Little Thing and another six-month beauty partnership with Boots.
