Jon Snow has been seen with his baby son for the first time as he stepped out with the baby boy in London on Sunday.
The 73-year-old Channel 4 news presenter decided to embrace the June heatwave with his wife Dr Precious Lunga, 46, and enjoy the sunshine at the weekend.
The couple carried their baby boy in a car seat, after welcoming him via surrogate on March 2. They have decided not to name him publicly as yet.
Precious, who is a Zimbabwean-born academic, did the duties of placing the car set into position in a vehicle, while Jon followed on with a baby bouncer and what seemed to be a nappy bag.
The baby boy was every inch the bonnie bairn as he wore a blue onesie and socks for their family time together under the sun.
Jon had announced the arrival of his son in a statement in March, in which he revealed that they had used a surrogate after his wife had suffered "numerous medical setbacks and miscarriages".
The TV presenter said: "In our desire to seal our now 11 years of marriage with a baby, my wife suffered numerous medical setbacks and miscarriages.
"Consequently, we will always be deeply grateful to our surrogate, who carried our embryo to term.
"Amid these challenging times, we feel doubly blessed to be able to celebrate our good fortune."
Jon has two older daughters from his first marriage to former partner Madeleine Colvin, 64, and he was once briefly engaged to fellow ITN news presenter Anna Ford, 70.
He married Precious in March 2010, saying at the time: "She’s somewhere in her forties. She’s very, very mature. I mean, she’s a serious boffin."
They married on the exclusive Caribbean island of Mustique at the £800-a-night Firefly Hotel.
Jon said: "Yes, I have got married, but I have absolutely no interest in discussing my private life. It was actually some time ago."
