Channel 4 viewers were left baffled after the network stopped broadcasting and froze in the middle of popular chat show Steph’s Packed Lunch.
The chat show, filmed in Leeds, completely froze and viewers were presented with a ‘Programmes will continue shortly’ message.
Channel 4 experienced the disruption for at least 20 minutes and it’s safe to say Steph's packed lunch fans were far from impressed.

They took to Twitter to question the technical issue and share their frustration.
One Tweeted: "Channel 4 has frozen, leaving us with this meme in the making," referencing the frozen screen which showed the strap line "nightmare on Elm Street"
Another joked: "Why has channel 4 frozen? Does somebody need to put 50p in the meter?"

Broadcasting resumed after the 20 minute disruption meaning they are now behind schedule.
Channel 4 have since issued an apology to their viewers, taking to Twitter they wrote: “We’re sorry about our tech hiccup this afternoon and hope you can now view it as normal. Further updates will be posted here.”
This isn’t the first time Channel 4 viewers have experienced technical difficulties.
During Tuesday night's episode of Great British Bake Off viewers trying to watch the show on Sky Go were greeted with a bizarre message claiming they were unable to watch the show.
