Change for the better

In the 2017 "What's Your Why" campaign, David Beckham was asked what motivates him to be a fit dad. The AIA global ambassador responded by saying that, even though he's no longer playing football, he wants to continue to live a healthy and fit life and to live longer.

The advertising campaign proved hugely popular, with over 44 million views of the accompanying film.

Beckham is back in AIA Thailand's new online commercial "Little Changes", which conveys its "Healthier, Longer, Better Lives" concept. The campaign was inspired by a survey of what or who motivates people to live more healthily, with 80% of respondents citing their children as the chief motivation.

The insurance company, which celebrated its 80th anniversary last year, invited kids across the country to send a video clip sharing their points of view on living healthy lives. Some 27 children aged between 5 and 11 were selected to join Beckham for the latest commercial.

The children asked the English football icon thought-provoking questions about healthy living at home with their parents. They raised various concerns over issues such as poor diet, obesity, working too hard and excessive mobile-phone usage.

Beckham gives clear answers and practical advice, encouraging families to exercise together and leave mobile phones in another room when dining or watching TV together.

The Q&A session aims to encourage adults to consider how little changes in their habits and lifestyles can make a big difference in improving well-being, allowing them to live "healthier, longer, better lives" in alignment with AIA's brand promise.
