Chandler Jones feels bad for Russell Wilson with J.J. Watt in Arizona

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past two days, you know that the Arizona Cardinals signed defensive end J.J. Watt, shaking up the NFC West even more this offseason.

This is especially troubling news for the Seattle Seahawks, who are in dire need of offensive line help. However, even if they fortify their pass protection with whatever sorcery general manager John Schneider may try to conjure up this time, they will have trouble containing Watt along with star linebacker Chandler Jones, who dropped an eye-catching tweet in the wake of the announcement of Watt’s signing.

Seattle has already suffered the wrath of Aaron Donald for years and Russell Wilson has spoken publicly about his frustration with his offensive line’s struggles. If Wilson is not traded (highly unlikely) and stays with the team for the 2021 season, it’s hard to imagine him not running for his life on a frequent basis.

Can Seattle even be a postseason contender in 2021, or will its imposing division rivals and the rest of the conference prove to be too much?
