Chandigarh: Moose Wala's bust installed at his cremation spot

Mansa: A month after the killing of Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu aka Sidhu Moose Wala on May 29, a fan has installed a bust of the slain singer in the same place where his mortal remains were consigned to flames.

A number of people visit the place daily. Going by the number of visitors visiting the spot, Moose Wala's family is already planning to install a shed at the place. The family has also placed a board, appealing to people who come to pay tributes to Moose Wala to plant a sapling in his memory.

Two known sculptors of Moga district are preparing sculptures of Sidhu Moose Wala on their own. Manjit Singh of Ghal Kalan village and Iqbal Singh of Manuke village are preparing the sculptures. Iqbal has decided to take the sculpture, being prepared in three layers to be joined in one, to Moosa village on a tractor when it is completed. Manjit Singh is yet to decide where the sculpture has to be placed.

Earlier Manjit Singh had prepared a sculpture of agricultural scientist MS Swaminathan and had taken it to Delhi borders when struggle against contentious farm laws was going on in 2021.
