Chandigarh Housing Board razes three illegal structures

CHANDIGARH: The Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) demolished three illegal structures in Dadumajra on Tuesday. A senior CHB official said there were nine illegal structures and the land below electric lines was encroached upon in all these cases, posing risk to human life and property. In one of the cases, an electric pole has been taken inside the boundary wall of a CHB house by one of the allottees, he added. The remaining six illegal structures will be demolished this week.
