CHANDIGARH: With road blockades expected at Mullanpur barrier and Hallomajra light point owing to the Bharat bandh call given by farmers protesting against the Narendra Modi government’s farm laws on Monday, police advised public to adopt alternative routes.
Diversion will be put in place at Khuda Lahora bridge; Dhanas bridge; at tubewell turn in Sector 25; at T-point near Dhanas lake; and at PGI chowk towards Mullanpur barrier.
Traffic at Hallomajra light point will be diverted towards Kali Bari light point from roundabout of Industrial Area, phases I and II, and sectors 31 and 29. Traffic coming from Panchkula towards Hallomajra light point will be diverted towards Baltana near Raipur Kalan barrier and towards airport light point at Makhanmajra turn.
