AHMEDABAD: At the Narendra Modi Stadium to witness the big-ticket India-Pakistan 2023 ODI World Cup match on Saturday, Pakistan Cricket Board chairman management committee, Zaka Ashraf stated, "The match between India and Pakistan is the moment we've all been waiting for. It is a chance to showcase the true power of sports in bringing nations together. The whole nation is behind the Pakistan cricket team."
"I wish the Pakistan team good luck. I know our team has been working hard, and I have complete faith in their skills, determination, and teamwork," he said.
The BCCI bosses had hosted Ashraf for a grand dinner here on Friday night.
Ashraf had made the decision to travel to India after it was confirmed that members of Pakistan's media contingent would be provided with an Indian visa to cover the World Cup.
