Spurs will be back in Champions League action in a matter of hours as they bid to seal a place in the showpiece finale against Liverpool.
Trailing 3-0 from the first leg in Barcelona last week, the Reds booked their spot in the final in Madrid at the start of June with a stunning 4-0 win at Anfield.
Mauricio Pochettino's team will be hoping to join them there but they will have to turn around a one-goal deficit following their defeat against Ajax in the first leg.
It's certainly not out of the question, although their task has been made that bit harder with key players such as Harry Kane, Harry Winks and Davinson Sanchez unavailable due to injury.
So, will Spurs progress to the final after almost going out in the group stage back in December?
Pundits Charlie Nicholas and Michael Owen have had their say on the encounter in Amsterdam and they are both predicting misery for the team.
"This is the more intriguing tie," Nicholas told Sky Sports. "Tottenham have dropped form and are not playing well. Son Heung-min was sent off at the weekend and this is his opportunity to save Tottenham's season. Although Ajax looked a bit naive at Tottenham, they were only naive as they did such a good job in the first half and let Tottenham off.
"On the night, Tottenham's attacking players were very poor and Ajax's were very good. Dele Alli has been really poor recently and Christian Eriksen needs to up his game too. Tottenham have to go after this game and they are chasing. I expect Ajax to score and I do not know whether Tottenham will have two in them. I see another painful night for the English team."
Owen, meanwhile, has backed both teams to score in his BetVictor blog but he doesn't see how Spurs can progress.
"I expect to see Mauricio Pochettino’s side score in Holland, but I fear it will be the hosts who qualify for the final in Madrid at the beginning of June," Owen added.
