Chance the Rapper offered a bit of advice to his namesake gator “Chance the Snapper” now that the reptile has been detained by authorities in Chicago.
“Keep your head up, they got you locked down, they can have your body but they can’t have your mind,” he told Jimmy Fallon on the “The Tonight Show” on Tuesday.
”Fantastic. Thanks. Wow. That’s beautiful words,” Fallon responded.
The alligator was caught early Tuesday in the Humboldt Park lagoon. It’s being cared for by Chicago Animal Care and Control until it can be placed in a sanctuary or a similar place, probably in Florida.
