Chance The Rapper returns to SNL as a clueless reporter in a hilarious eSports skit

Lazlo Holmes (Chance The Rapper) made a return to “Saturday Night Live” with an appearance at what he called a “League of Legos” tournament.

Much like his previous skit, Chance The Rapper played Holmes, an NBA reporter thrust into coverage of a sport he knows nothing about. Last time, he was forced to cover the NHL. This time, his assignment was an eSports “League of Legends” tournament. The result was similar: a whole lot of laughs. (In fact, the NHL loved this character so much that they brought Holmes in to do more appearances with NHL players.)

In the skit, Holmes interviews the captains of one of the teams. That eSports athlete then disappears backstage with a group of female fans.

“My brain went to a Tom-Hanks-in-Saving-Private-Ryan moment,” Chance The Rapper said, signing off, “Lazlo Holmes, coming to you from the upside down.”
