Adams latest as Birmingham look to retain
Birmingham City are already facing into a long summer if they are to hold onto Che Adams by the time next season kicks off.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a move away from St Andrews for months now and his 22 goals in the Championship this season have earned him suitors from much higher up in the food chain.
City already rejected offers from Premier League sides Burnley and Southampton in January but now Football Insider report that Everton are preparing a bid.
Birmingham are expected to fight to hold onto their young star but whether or not they can convince him to ignore the advances of the Toffees remains to be seen.
QPR’s managerial search
Further south, Michael Appleton has emerged as a contender for the vacant managerial position at QPR according to The Telegraph.

The former Blackburn and Oxford United manager has apparently held talks with Rangers this week.
Most recently he has served as Leicester City assistant manager and took charge as caretaker for two games in between the reigns of Craig Shakespeare and Claude Puel
Appleton has also been linked with replacing Darren Moore at West Brom and still faces competition for the QPR job from Tim Sherwood.

The Baggies have been dealt a blow with Newcastle United boss Rafael Benitez refusing to rule out returns to St James Park for Dwight Gayle and Jacob Murphy.
The pair have spent the season on loan at the Hawthorns, with Gayle bagging 17 goals in 33 Championship appearances in the current campaign.

The Ghanaian striker is on loan with Trabzonspor in Turkey and after netting eight times in 29 appearances both sides are keen for him to remain there.

According to Sport Witness, recent reports in Turkey suggest that Ekuban has agreed terms with the Super Lig club and is just waiting on Leeds to sign off on the €1m deal.
