Former Nottingham Forest loan flop told he can leave Reds' Championship rivals

Stoke to let Ince leave

Stoke City are looking to offload former Nottingham Forest loan flop Tom Ince this summer and will consider both permanent and loan moves, Football Insider states.

The 28-year-old joined the Potters for £10m in 2018 from Huddersfield Town and has two years remaining on the contract he signed but Stoke are looking to get him off their wage bill ahead of the new season.

While he featured regularly for Michael O’Neill’s side, he contributed just three goals and two assists.

Liverpool target Sarr

Liverpool are looking to raid Watford for the signature of Ismaila Sarr following the club’s relegation from the Premier League, the Liverpool Echo reports.

The 22-year-old is one of two players the Premier League champions are looking to snatch from relegated sides, having seen an offer for Norwich City full-back Jamal Lewis rejected this week.

Sarr is seen as the ideal recruit to provide back-up for Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane ahead of the gruelling campaign that lies ahead, with the quick turnaround between seasons testing players like never before.

QPR close to Amos deal

Queens Park Rangers are closing in on a deal to sign Tottenham midfielder Luke Amos on a permanent basis following his successful stint on loan at the club last term.

Middlesbrough have also been attributed with an interest but TalkSport states that negotiation between QPR and Spurs are at an advanced stage, with Mark Warburton keen to bring the player back to the club.

Amos has just one year remaining on his deal in North London and QPR will pay only a minimal fee for his services.

Middlesbrough eye Hoilett

Middlesbrough boss Neil Warnock is looking to raid his former employers Cardiff City for the services of Junior Hoilett, Teesside Live states.

The 30-year-old Canada international, who has also worked under Warnock with QPR, was a regular with Cardiff last season but has just one year remaining on his deal with the Bluebirds.

That could aid the Teessiders in negotiations with their Championship rivals for the experienced winger, with Warnock looking for new recruits after landing Grant Hall on a free transfer.
