Championship transfer rumours - Blackburn eye Liverpool star, QPR midfielder wanted

The January transfer window drew to a close at 11pm on Friday evening, meaning attentions could now switch to matters back on the pitch until the end of the season.

But despite the window drawing to a close only two days ago, the rumours about the summer transfer window are already under way, exciting supporters about what the summer could hold for their team.

Though the summer window seems quite a way off, it will soon be upon us before you know it.

Here are the very latest rumours from around the Championship.

Rovers eye Liverpool youngster

Blackburn Rovers have set their sights on a summer loan move for highly-rated Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones, report The Sun.

Jones has been handed a few opportunities by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp to showcase his talents for the Reds this season, as well as netting two goals in the FA Cup, the first of which was a stunner in the third-round victory over Everton at Anfield last month.

Should Rovers land Jones, 19, in the summer, it would be the first time that he will have been allowed to leave Anfield on loan in a bid to get more experience at first-team level on a regular basis.

Terriers block Grant exit

The Huddersfield Examiner are reporting that Huddersfield Town turned down a £15m bid for star striker Karlan Grant.

Grant has been a shinning light in a forgettable season for the West Yorkshire club, scoring 13 goals in 31 apperances.

Though the club in question has not been named, Huddersfield boss Danny Cowley and the supporters will have been delighted to keep hold of the the striker.

Palace to keep tabs on Rs star

Premier League side Crystal Palace plan to keep a close eye on the development of QPR's midfield sensation Eberechi Eze.

Eze has wowed the Championship this season with his dazzling performances and was subject of a lot of interest throughout January from a host of clubs.

It is reported by The Sun that Palace plan to keep tabs on him ahead of the summer transfer window.
