Championship transfer news: Leeds United turn down offer for Pablo Hernandez, Derby County sign ex-West Ham United striker

The transfer window may be closed for  Nottingham Forest  but deals can still be done.

Clubs in the lower leagues can still sign players until September 2 and so can clubs across Europe.

Should  Sabri Lamouchi  wish to strengthen, he is limited to landing free agents and there are plenty on the market.

Here is all the latest transfer news from around the Championship...

Leeds turn down Pablo Hernandez offer

Leeds United have turned down European offers for Pablo Hernandez, according to the Athletic.

The 34-year-old has scored two goals in two games for the Whites this season, with one coming against Forest on Saturday, and is said to have been subject to bids from his native Spain, where the transfer window remains open until September 2.

But Marcelo Bielsa's side have turned down the deal as they continue their efforts to return to the Premier League.

Derby County sign West Ham striker

Former West Ham United striker Jahmal Hector-Ingram has joined Derby County.

The 20-year-old was released by the London Stadium club in July and will now team up with Philip Cocu's side following an impressive trial.

During his six games with the club's Under-23s side, Hector-Ingram scored an impressive five goals - enough to warrant an offer at Pride Park.

Danny Loader saw Wolves deal collapse

Reading boss Jose Gomez have revealed that 18-year-old Danny Loader has been allowed some time away from the first-team after his deadline day deal to join Premier League Wolves collapsed.

The teenager, who has been in fine form for Reading, had agreed personal terms to join Nuno Esprito Santo at Molineux before the deal broke down, according to BirminghamLive.

He was sidelined for the Royals' 2-1 defeat to Hull, but is expected to return on Saturday.

Swansea forward closing in on move to Marseille

Swansea City's Andre Ayew is reportedly closing in a move to re-join French giants Marseille, according to FootballGhana.com

The Ghanaian international, who is in his second spell with the Swans, was first linked with the move yesterday but it now said that the deal is beginning to ramp up.

Ayew played over 200 games for Marseille during his first spell with the club.
