Championship transfer news: Charlton wait to see if Tomer Hemed has signed ahead of facing Nottingham Forest

Charlton are yet to learn if they have signed Tomer Hemed from Brighton & Hove Albion - 11 days after the transfer window closed.

The Addicks, who face Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night, are adamant they submitted the relevant paperwork in time to sign the striker from Brighton on transfer deadline day.

Speaking after the 2-2 draw with Barnsley, manager Lee Bowyer said: “We're still quietly confident that it's going to happen.

"Nothing's changed, we're just waiting for a reply from them [the EFL and the FA] so, as soon as we do that, then hopefully he can come and start training with us because we're losing out, the kid's losing out, it's just wrong.

“I'll just say what I said last week. Hopefully, they come back with the right decision.”

Leeds are rivaling Premier League sides Brighton and West Ham for Serbia international Nemanja Radoja.

That is according to TEAMtalk, with the defensive midfielder available on a free transfer after leaving Celta Vigo.

His status as a free agent means he can sign for English clubs outside the transfer window.

Bristol City are in talks to sign Ashley Williams on a free transfer, according to The Sun.

The 34-year-old central defender was released by Everton at the end of last season.
