Championship supercomputer predicts 2021-22 title winners and which three teams will go down

Fulham will seal an immediate return to the top flight by winning next season's Championship, according to a supercomputer prediction.

The Cottagers were relegated from the Premier League last season and begin the 2021-22 campaign under new management with Marco Silva taking over from Scott Parker.

The prediction also tips fellow relegated sides West Brom and Sheffield United to have strong seasons, with the Baggies slated in second and United third.

Bournemouth, Swansea and Middlesbrough are the other teams predicted to finish in the play-offs.

The forecast comes via BonusCodeBet’s supercomputer, an algorithm that has analysed informative betting markets including title winner, top six, top-half finish and relegation.

At the other end of the table, newly-promoted Blackpool and Peterborough are expected to see their second tier stays last a solitary campaign.

Perhaps surprisingly, Huddersfield are the third team backed to be relegated to League One. The Terriers are entering their third season at this level, having finished 18th and 20th.

The new Championship season kicks off on Friday, August 6 when Bournemouth host West Brom.
