Championship rumours: Man City target Leeds United star, West Ham eye Nottingham Forest duo

Man City look at White

Manchester City are keeping a keen eye on Brighton & Hove Albion defender Ben White.

The 22-year-old has established himself as an exciting talent having impressed on loan at Leeds United this season.

Pep Guardiola wants to add a new defender to his ranks and White could replace fellow countryman John Stones, reports The Athletic.

Leeds are also thought to be interested in trying to sign White permanently this summer.

West Ham target Forest duo

West Ham will try to sign Nottingham Forest stars Matty Cash and Joe Worrall this summer.

The Hammers tried to sign Cash to bolster their ranks in the January transfer window but saw a bid rejected.

However, Football Insider report that West Ham can sign the pair for £25m this summer if Forest don't reach the Premier League.

Both Worrall and Cash have also attracted interest from other Premier League clubs.

West Brom planning transfer window

West Brom boss Slaven Bilic has confirmed that they have already put feelers out over potential transfers when the window opens.

“We are doing a bit of that of course. People are calling, the agents are calling,” Bilic explained. “Now you have time to start.

“You can watch again your games, you can watch those nine opponents that you still have to play against.

“At the end of the day, if you have anything now you have time. You can find new ideas in your head. It’s okay. It’s not only to get you through the day. You are trying to improve. You can make it useful, the time.”
