Championship rumours: Adam Webster set for Premier League; Leeds forward heading to Belgium

With the deadline of the summer transfer window fast approaching, and with just under a week to try and conclude vital deals, there is expected to be a hive of activity going on in a bid to get players over the line.

And here are the latest juiciest rumours and done deals from around the Championship.

Webster set for Premier League

Bristol City star Adam Webster looks set to be heading to the Premier League.

Brighton have reportedly agreed a deal in the region of £20m for the centre-back, who was one of his side’s standout stars last season.

Webster is believed to be on his way to Brighton for a medical and discuss personal terms.

Roofe heading for the exit

Leeds United forward Kemar Roofe looks set to leave the club.

According to reports from Belgium, Anderlecht are in advanced talks to sign the forward.

Roofe is set to enter the final year of his Elland Road contract, and will his side’s opening Championship game against Bristol City on Sunday with an ankle injury.

Latics agree Moore fee

Wigan Athletic have agreed a fee for Kieffer Moore.

The forward scored 17 league goals as the Tykes were promoted from League 1 last season.

And reports on Friday morning are suggesting that the 26-year-old is set to undergo a medical in the North West in the coming days.

Peacock-Farrell becomes a Clarets

Bailey Peacock-Farrell has completed his move to Premier League side Burnley.

The former Leeds United goalkeeper has joined the Clarets on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old, who came through the youth ranks at the Whites, went on to make 41 first-team appearances for the Elland Road club.

Honeyman joins the Tigers

Hull City have completed the signing of George Honeyman from Sunderland for an undisclosed fee.

The 24-year-old has agreed a three-year deal with the Tigers, with Hull having the option of adding a further year.

The midfielder becomes Grant McCann’s sixth signing of the summer.
