Championship rival coos over Marcelo Bielsa after latest impressive Leeds United showing

Nottingham Forest star Joe Lolley has hailed Marcelo Bielsa as an "incredible coach" following Leeds United 's narrow FA Cup third round exit to Arsenal on Monday evening.

The Whites dominated their hosts during the first half at the Emirates Stadium, and though they were ultimately unable to come away with the win, they earned major plaudits for their performance against the Premier League heavyweights.

Bielsa's style in particular, broadcast on free-to-air, arguably reached a bigger broadcast audience in the United Kingdom than ever before and helped to reinforce their promotion credentials.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta described them as a "nightmare" and compared the prospect of facing them like a "trip to the dentist" in his post-match comments, to underline the challenge his side faced.

Now, striker Lolley, who represents a prolific presence up front for Forest in the Championship, has added his own voice to the chorus of individuals heaping praise on the Argentine.

"From a football nerd point of view, Bielsa is just an incredible coach," he wrote on Twitter .

Several United fans weighed back in on his comments in good nature, with @DAVIDLUFC_ making reference to the requirements for versatility under the Argentine.

"Come play for him if you like," he responded. "We are open to everyone - as long as you can play 16 different positions..."

The 27-year-old started when Forest travelled to Elland Road earlier this season, though he drew a personal blank when the two teams played out a 1-1 draw in August.

The Redditch-born attacker formerly played for the Whites' West Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Town before he joined his current club.
