Tottenham Hotspur's Champions League dream seems to be turning into a nightmare, as Ajax have dominated the first half at the Johan Cruyff Arena and seem to have one foot in the final.
The game was just five minutes young when Matthijs de Ligt escaped his marker to head home following a corner, while Hakim Ziyech later added to his impressive tally for the season to put Ajax 2-0 up on the night and 3-0 up on aggregate.
It was an evening that offered so much but it now seems to be slipping away and fans on social media were quick to point out that one player in particular was at fault for both goals.
Kieran Trippier was the man who lost De Ligt for the opening goal, while he also conceded possession ahead of the second goal of the night for the home side - and fans were not in a forgiving news.
