Championship play-offs 2019: Dates, betting odds, how to watch on TV and online

The Championship playoff lineup has been finalised after a dramatic last day of the season.

With Norwich City crowned champions, and Sheffield United also sealing automatic promotion with a second-placed finish, four teams are left to battle it out in the playoffs with the dream of earning promotion to the Premier League.

Here’s everything you need to know…

Who is in the play-offs?

Three teams had already sealed their play-off berths going into the final day of the season. Leeds United looked set to clinch an automatic spot at one stage, but back-to-back defeats to Wigan and Brentford saw them drop to third.

Despite sacking manager Darren Moore while fourth in the table, West Brom have maintained their form to hold that position, while a stunning run of 10 wins in a row saw Aston Villa soar to fifth.

Sixth spot, however, was still up for grabs. Both Bristol City and Middlesbrough had hopes of overhauling sixth-placed Derby County on the final day, but a 3-1 win over West Brom ensured Frank Lampard's men live to fight another day.
