Newcastle United have slapped a £15m price tag on 30-year-old striker Dwight Gayle.
The forward has long been linked with Nottingham Forest and Leeds United and is a popular choice among Bristol City fans for who they would like to sign in January.
Gayle scored 23 goals for West Brom on loan last season and would be a good signing for any club fighting for promotion.
Leeds United defender has uncertain future
Leeds are reportedly ready to offload defender Gaetano Berardi at the end of the season.
The Whites are holding off on offering the Swiss defender a new contract.
His current contract expires in June and could be offloaded despite starting five out of the last 10 games for Bielsa's side.
Warnock tipped for return
Neil Warnock has been tipped for a swift return to management after leaving Cardiff City.
Warnock left the the Bluebirds following the 1-0 loss to Bristol City in November, but is being touted as a possible replacement for Jonathan Woodgate, should he be sacked by Middlesbrough.
Woodgate is under pressure at Boro after managing just three wins so far this season, and the Daily Mail is reporting the Neil Warnock could be in line to take over.
Championship boss linked with Premier League job
Nottingham Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi has been linked with the vacant Watford job.
Quique Sanchez Flores was sacked by the Hornets after less than three months in charge, and Lamouchi is now being given odds of 20/1 to take over by SkyBet.
Former Brighton boss Chris Hughton is the clear favourite for the job, with Sam Allardyce and Paul Clement also touted as possible candidates.
