Championship morning headlines: Bristol City set to beat Nottingham Forest to deal as Leeds United dealt blow

Robins set to agree Wells deal

Bristol City look set to beat multiple clubs, including Nottingham Forest to Nahki Wells.

Charlton make bid for Clarke-Harris

Leeds suffer summer blow

Leeds United have been dealt an early blow in the summer transfer market.

Ben White's impressive performances for the Whites this season have seen some at Elland Road optimistic of securing the on-loan Brighton & Hove Albion defender on a permanent basis.

Yet the Athletic report that the Seagulls very much view White as a long-term prospect, starting from next season.

The defender has been linked with Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Wolves after an impressive first half of the season.
