Championship gossip: Radrizzani sends message to Leeds United and Wolverhampton Wanderers; West Bromwich Albion keen on impressive free agent; Nottingham Forest target posts Manchester City update

After a flurry of Bristol City transfer activity, fans are turning their attentions to the rest of the league to find out what the Robins' rivals are up to.

Here is the latest rumours from the division.

Radrizzani's thanks

Leeds Live report that Andrea Radrizzani has thanked Wolves and Jorge Mendes for letting Leeds United seal the signing of Helder Costa.

“I’d like to thank Jeff Shi (Wolves’ executive chairman) and the player’s agent for helping us to achieve the signing of Helder,” said Radrizzani.

“He had opportunities from some big clubs across England and Europe, but he has chosen to join our race to the Premier League and make history.”

Baggies want Opa

Birmingham Live report that West Brom have shown an interest in Opa Nguette.

The winger is a free agent after leaving Metz this summer and there has also been interest from Nantes, Club Brugge and Genk.

Nguette, 24, scored seven times last season to help Metz to the Ligue 2 title.

Muric update

Nottinghamshire Live report that a social media post from Arijanet Muric suggests the Manchester City goalkeeper could be close to a move to the City Ground.

The Reds have been keen on a move for the Kosovo international, who recently posted on Instagram that he was in Spain.

With Forest at a pre-season training camp in Alicante, it could mean he is set to link up with the club.
