Championship gossip: Leeds United face competition for prolific forward; Middlesbrough plot ambitious Tony Pulis replacement; West Bromwich Albion star wanted in Turkey

Leeds face competition

TuttoMercatoWeb claim Leeds United face competition from Brescia for striker Florian Aye.

Brescia are owned by infamous former Leeds owner Massimo Cellino and they are keen to hijack the Elland Road club's deal for the Clermont striker.

Aye scored 18 goals for the Ligue 2 side last season.

Boro keep eye on Wilder

The Express and Star report that both Middlesbrough and West Bromwich Albion are eyeing up audacious managerial moves for Sheffield United's Chris Wilder.

Wilder led the Blades to promotion this season but wants reassurances over his budget for next season.

With the Baggies and Boro yet to appoint anyone as manager for next season, the two are monitoring Wilder's situation.

Fenerbahce plot Gibbs move

Fanatik claim Kieran Gibbs is wanted by Fenerbahce.

The West Bromwich Albion left-back has been a regular at the Hawthorns ever since moving from Arsenal in 2017.

Gibbs is valued at £3.5m by the Baggies but Turkish giants Fenerbahce will try and negotiate that down to £2m.
