Haland wants Leeds move

Erling Haland, who scored nine goals for Norway under-20s against Honduras in the under-20 World Cup, says he wants to win the Premier League with Leeds.

Speaking to  Aftenposten , a Norwegian newspaper, Haaland said: “I want to be the best possible.

“The dream is to win the Premier League with Leeds. In addition, the goal is to become a better player than my dad was. I hope to get more caps than he did.”

Boro look at Knudsen

The East Anglian Daily Times claim that Middlesbrough have rekindled their interest in Ipswich Town left-back Jonas Knudsen.

Knudsen is out-of-contract this summer and Bundesliga sides Freiburg and Fortuna Dusseldorf are interested.

Yet Boro are also keen to take the Danish international, who has turned down a new contract at Portman Road.
