Championship club raid Everton ranks for another signing

Callum Connolly is the latest former Everton player to join Blackpool.

The 23-year-old has today signed for the newly promoted Championship club on a two-year-deal with the option of a third season.

Connolly, whose contract at Goodison officially ends next week, will join Josh Bowler in swapping Everton for Blackpool this summer.

Bowler, 22, agreed a move to Neil Critchley's side last week with his Blues contract also set to expire at the end of this month.

Luke Garbutt joined Blackpool in September following the end of his Everton deal while Ellis Simms spent the second-half of last season on loan with the Tangerines and scored 10 goals to help them to play-off success.

Simms is to be offered a new contract by Everton and another loan will be discussed if he puts pen to paper.
