Championship average attendances: Leeds United and Nottingham Forest lead the way but Bristol City are healthy

We are under a month into the new Championship season but already crowds are flocking to matches.

Bristol City have just had two games on the road, winning at both Derby County and Hull City.

It means Ashton Gate may well be packed this coming Saturday, when the Robins host Middlesbrough for their first home game in two weeks.

So far, the Robins average a healthy 22,603 at home this season - here's the rest of the Championship average attendances with stats courtesy of Football Web Pages.
