Manchester United appeared to have no fresh injuries when training for the final time before flying to Russia on Tuesday afternoon for Wednesday evening’s Champions League group match with CSKA Moscow.

All of the 18 players who formed the squad for Saturday’s 3-0 victory at Everton took part in the Tuesday morning session at the AON Training Complex. Sergio Romero and Antonio Valencia may also make the trip following jet lag though James Wilson, who also trained, will not, according to Louis van Gaal, the manager.

The session also included Sean Goss, a 20-year-old midfielder, and Regan Poole, also 20 and a defender.

Ashley Young, who was absent from the win over Everton because of a calf injury, will not travel.

“It’s the same amount of injuries so Luke Shaw, Paddy McNair and Ashley Young are not going with us,” Van Gaal said.
