It is shaping up to be a memorable summer for everyone associated with Leeds United.
After securing their long-awaited return to the Premier League last month, scooping the Championship title with a blistering end to the 2019/20 campaign, the Whites are now less than a fortnight away from tasting top-flight football again for the first time in more than 16 years.
As with any newly-promoted side, Leeds have been eager to get new faces through the door in an attempt to bolster their armoury and stave off the threat of relegation this season - a target that every newly-promoted side sets themselves.
After a slow start to the summer transfer window, certainly in the sense of bolstering the first-team squad, Leeds, who face Liverpool on the opening day of the campaign at Anfield, have started to turn the screw in more ways than one.
Over the weekend, Leeds drafted in two big-money signings, highlighting Leeds' ambition to stabilise as a Premier League club once again. Firstly, they landed Valencia striker Rodrigo for a club-record transfer fee before confirming the signing of SC Freiburg defender Robin Koch, who joined the Whites for a fee believed to be around £13m.
The arrivals of both Rodrigo and Koch are huge statements of intent shown by the Whites, especially in regards to Rodrigo, with the Spaniard having been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona earlier this year.
But Leeds' supporters weekend got even better on Sunday as reports emerged that the Whites, who have made nine signings so far this summer, are now keen on landing Udinese attacking-midfielder Rodrigo De Paul and Dinamo Zagreb defender Josko Gvardiol.
This news, of course, immediately brought about a reaction from Leeds' supporters, who are now more excited than ever to see the new campaign get going.
Whites fans flooded social media with posts and comments about the prospect of the club adding even more quality to the squad.
