Chamonix fire

A fire has destroyed several landmark bars and closed the main party quarter of the French ski resort of Chamonix. Flames consumed Dick's T-Bar and Cybar, among others, on Tuesday night after a fire started in a small derelict wooden building on the rue des Moulins, in which many of the town's popular bars are situated. No one was injured as the bars were relatively quiet that early in the evening. The fire then headed back on itself and consumed the Bureau des Guides du Mont Blanc.
