Challenging easter optical illusion IQ test which only five per cent of people can do

Optical illusion tests are a great workout for the brain - and we've got egg-actly the one for you.

So see if you can call yourself a genius, with this Easter brain teaser. This themed test might be trickier than you think, reports The Mirror.

Users have been left scratching their heads, trying to work out how many eggs are in the picture above.

You'll need to think outside the egg box with this one, and consider more than what you can see in the image. According to The Sun, 95 per cent of people will fail, so if you manage it you're in the top five per cent of people, boasting high IQ.

If your first answer was 16, you're unfortunately wrong because you need to take into consideration the eggs you can't see. Do you give up? We'll try to help you get there. First, start from the bottom and think how many there would be if this was a 3D picture.

It would be four eggs by four, which means there would be 16 on the bottom alone. In the next row there are three, so by the same thinking it would give you nine.

After that, you have two by two, which is four, plus the one on its own at the top. Add them all together and you've got 30 eggs in total.
