Chain restaurants in Scotland running Eat Out to Help Out discount from Monday

Scots will be able to enjoy their favourite sit-in meals at budget prices from Monday due to the Eat Out to Help Out scheme.

The initiative has been launched by the UK Government in a bid to restart the economy amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Diners will be able to get half price off drinks and food at participating restaurants when they dine in every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for the whole of August.

And you will not need a voucher to redeem this offer and you can use the discount as often as you like throughout the month, reports the Mirror.

The 50% saving is available for up to £10 per person and the scheme excludes alcoholic drinks.

Hundreds of chain restaurants across the country have signed up to the scheme.

McDonald's, Wagamama and Wetherspoon are just some of the favourites on the list.

Scots can also check which of their local independent restaurants are taking part through the UK Government’s postcode checker.

Here is a list of all UK chains where you can claim your 50% reduction.
