Chad Kelly appears to be working out at a high school in Buffalo

Former Denver Broncos quarterback Chad Kelly is continuing to work toward an NFL comeback, posting a workout video on Twitter last weekend. The former Ole Miss quarterback appears to be training at Crosby Field, a high school football stadium near Buffalo, New York.

Kelly, 25, was born in Buffalo and he is the nephew of Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly, who played for the Buffalo Bills.

The Broncos released Kelly last year after he was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal trespassing on Oct. 23. The QB avoided jail time for the incident but he may face a suspension from the NFL.

Kelly might have been a potential prospect for the Alliance of American Football but that league has suspended operations. With the AAF no longer an option, the NFL and CFL present Kelly’s only chances of returning to football since the XFL will not allow players with a criminal history to play in the league.
