Chad Johnson wants to know if new Bengals staff will still welcome former players

Even former Cincinnati Bengals players have questions about the new Zac Taylor-led era.

Chad Johnson leads the way in this regard, as he asked a straightforward question on social media recently:

In the past, former Bengals who had a solid relationship with head coach Marvin Lewis were around often. So it goes when a head coach sticks around with a program for 16 years.

It is hard to imagine Taylor and his staff don’t welcome former players with open arms. The team as a whole doesn’t have the best reputation with former players given the lack of a ring of honor and otherwise — but guys like Anthony Munoz have already been around Paul Brown Stadium since the Taylor hire.

If one had to guess, expect to see Johnson linking up with the new coaching staff at some point this offseason.
