Chad Johnson remains a believer in the Cincinnati Bengals.
Those Bengals have a tough task in front of them to start the 2019 season thanks to a road trip for a game against the Seattle Seahawks. Don’t forget the shaky injury status of someone like Cordy Glenn and the absence of a star like A.J. Green.
But based on the tweet above, Chad thinks the Bengals can escape with a win.
What he has to say makes plenty of sense too — on paper. Tyler Boyd was a breakout last year even without Green on the field and Joe Mixon led the AFC in rushing. The quick-hitting attack could help negate a strong Seattle front seven, as could some genuine innovative play calls from an offensive-minded staff.
Maybe that’s not how it all plays out — but Chad is once again the voice of reason, providing a positive perspective.
