Chad Johnson leaves $276 tip on bill, recalling his time with Patriots

This tip is sad for Chad Johnson, but not for the server.

The retired NFL wide receiver, who spent his final season with the New England Patriots, left a $276 gratuity on a $91.36 restaurant bill because “I only had 276 yards with the Patriots which was really horrible.”

Indeed, Johnson was a major flop during his time in New England, with 15 receptions for 276 yards and a touchdown. He and the Patriots appeared in the Super Bowl after the 2011 season but lost to the New York Giants.
