Chad Johnson jokes he’s signing free-agent deal with Bengals

It’s been a hectic day of free agency in the NFL, and Chad Johnson wants in on all the free agency drama.

He jokingly tweeted about a one-year deal with the Cincinnati Bengals, even tagging Adam Schefter as his source. Adam Schefter never tweeted anything about Ochocinco.

However, during his retirement, Johnson has become quite the soccer fan, making it common knowledge to all his followers on Twitter. While not a confirmed report from numerous sources, Johnson may be doing some playing with a low-level professional soccer team.

That said, Johnson will not be returning to professional football, or at least for now. 11 years (10 with Cincinnati), six Pro Bowls and two first-team All-Pro selections are it for the Bengals legend.

I certainly wouldn’t expect Johnson to stop joking like he has on social media though.
