Chad Johnson Bengals visit has fans dreaming of a reunion

Cincinnati Bengals legend Chad Johnson is in town this weekend and will be honored at halftime of the Jaguars game as part of the NFL’s 100-year celebration.

And in typical Chad fashion, the man formerly known as Ochocinco has joked about linking up with coaches and getting back on the field:

“I can’t wait to meet Zac Taylor, talk football & a possible return since I’m in impeccable shape despite being 20lbs heavier (all muscle) than my playing weight, a move to linebacker or strong safety is feasible.”

Of course, Johnson is 41 years old now and while the Bengals certainly need help along the defense, the jokes are just that — jokes.

Johnson is one of several legends in town for the halftime gig, with others including cornerback Leon Hall and Ken Riley.

For fans, it’s at least good news to hear legends like Chad are linking up with the next wave of leaders in the current locker room:
